KRYSTAL

On July 31, 2013 Krystal my beloved companion went to meet her sister Princess, who went over the rainbow bridge a few months prior. We adopted Krystal when she was only a few month old from the Good Shephard K9 Rescue. For over 11 years she was my companion and the family’s beloved pet and she will be missed.

PRINCESS

On March 18, 2013 Princess, my beloved pet for over 8 years was sent over the rainbow bridge. Princess loved to chase the deer in the fields and loved playing with her sister, Krystal when she came over to my house. Princess was my companion from the age of 3 to the age of 11. She loved taking walks and riding in my car. I will miss her company.

LEXIE

On Friday, February 22, 2013, our beloved Lexie, formerly Alexis (Princess Alexis) passed on to the rainbow bridge. She came to us almost 12 years ago from Good Shepherd K9 Rescue adoption clinic at the Agway (Country Acres) in Burnt Hills. She was abused and locked in a cage before Good Shepherd rescued her. We were able to help her become a Therapy Dog at the Teresian House, where she worked with my sister, Heather, for the past 10 years. She helped countless people at the House reach their therapy goals. She won co-employee of the year several years ago. She will be missed by her family and friends.

We thank Good Shepherd K9 Rescue for rescuing her, who in turn rescued us!

We now have a wonderful new rescued dog, Rhonda (now known as Rhonnie) from Good Shepherd K9 Rescue (3/13).

ROCKY
We miss you something terrible.. you were our world!! for 10 short yrs.
you & your daddy got cancer's at same time you kept each other company
as you both fought ..
You poor thing had your toe amputated but you sure liked that chair lift you & dad used to get up & down stairs.. :) ..We think you hung on to make sure your daddy was ok through his stem-cell transplant, when daddy came through it..
your cancer came back again a year later.This time in your spine ..
the look on your face when we carried you in to hospital, we knew it was time.. as much as we wanted to make it stop, we loved you way too much to see you suffer..
you were so loyal & gentle and a huge part of our family,.. what a hole we all have in our hearts..
We adopted you from Good Shepherd 10 yrs ago when you were 2 yrs old .
and you changed our life forever...
We went & did everything together, everyone who met you fell in-love with you;
from cats to people to your little/big girlfriend Regal, you let her climb all over you when she was a pup and you just laid there. You guys were inseparable and she misses you badly, she huffs & puffs every night at bed time since you
left us few mths ago she just can't figure out where you went..

Rest in peace our beautiful buddy we were so special to us and we know you knew it you were spoiled and deserved it. :)

YOU WERE MY BEST
FRIEND FOR MANY YEARS - 14 YEARS.
YOU WERE A ONCE-IN-A LIFE TIME DOG!

~~~~BRANDY LYNN~~~~
04/1990 - 7/2010
You lived a long, long life to the ripe age of 20 yrs old.
I rescued you from downtown Schenectady when you
were only approx. 9 mths old.
In your life you enjoyed a ton of activities including agility, tracking, flyball,
dock jumping, obedience and trail walks.
I do not have any regrets on timing. You swam a week before your final day,.
Love you Brandy, you are now with your buddy Scruffy!
Your mom, Sherry
~~~~IN MEMORY OF JESSI~~~~
Approx. 1992-2011

You were a timid girl scared to death of men but we adopted you, with your bent tail and big brown eyes. We fell in love with you and you fell in love with us. Taking care of Tricia when she got hurt or was sad, and then when we brought Midnight home you became her step-mother and took care of her too. You took care of all of us. Lasting 14 years,
We will always miss you Jessi and Love you forever,
Laura, Peter, Tricia, and Midnight

ROY BOY

I AM GLAD YOU ENDED UP WITH ME-SOMEONE WHO LOVED YOU

YOU WERE MY FOREVER FOSTER DOG!
YOU WERE A GREAT DOG WHO LOVED EVERYONE WITH 2 OR 4 LEGS.
YOU WERE RESCUED AS A PUPPY AND ENDED UP LIVING TO BE 13 YRS OLD.
WE HAD A BLAST PLAYING, SWIMMING, RUNNING AND SNUGGLING!
I MISS YOU AND KNOW YOU FINALLY HAD A GREAT LIFE, WITH ME & YOUR K9 BUDDIES!
SHERRY

"My Sweetie"

You came into my life in October 2006 at 6 years old. I saved you from abuse and you saved me from loneliness. You were loving, beautiful, and the best behaved German Shepherd that I had the pleasure of having and being able to call "My Sweetie."
Unfortunately, you left us unexpectedly and too quickly not long after your 9th birthday
(we believe you had Wobbler’s Disease).
I guess it was your time to go, so I could adopt another loving dog. You and Sheba now have a little brother. We know you are in heaven with your older sister Sheba and your Grandpa. Knowing you two girls, you are both following your Grandpa around wanting to play, play, play!! Someday we will all be together, then all three of you can meet your crazy little brother and chase each other around.
Love Always,
Mommy and Daddy.

BOOTSIE
You came to me as a stray,
You stayed and lived a loving life,
You were a great pet.

My Odie! We had so much fun! I am so thankful I rescued you and we were able to share so many great times together!
Love you Odie!

"JUMPIE"
You came to me scard of life, you realized
you were safe.
You lived with me and enjoyed everyday.
You had a full & happy life and that is what
I smile about today!
1992-2008

"WOODCHUCK"

You were never just a cat. You were a good listener and a friend. When I was down I could always count on you to make me smile. I hope to some day meet you on the rainbow bridge and once again I will be able to see my friend Woodchuck who was responsible for so many of my smiles.

Thank you Woodchuck for the love you shared with me and my family. Thank you for being more than a pet. Thank you for being my friend. We miss you every day and you will never be forgotten.

"DUKE"

To My Sweet Boy Duke (Beagle) 1993-12/12/2008
We found each other and you where there for so many things in my life. You will be remembered by everyone you met, you were larger than life and I adored you. You proved time and time again that you were a fighter and we had a wonderful 14 and 1/2 years together. And although it was time for us to part I know it is only temporary and we will be together again.
All my Love,

Mommy

"PUMPKIN"

Pumpkin was my sweet baby girl Beagle/cross. Born 7/93 & passed away 7/28/08. She was purchased from a Mall Pet Shop because she was very sick. When she came home she was loaded w/fleas, worms & severely anemic from the flea bites. She was too young to be away from her mama. During her life, she never growled or showed her teeth to another living creature. She opened her heart to other cats, dogs, kittens & puppies. They were always more than welcome to climb into her bed or to share her food. She never knew a stranger.

She is missed by her human Mom & 5 chihuahua babies: Gizzie, 3 yrs old. Yoda, 4 yrs old. Little Man 1.5 yrs old. Ollie, 12 mths old. Woolfie 14 mths old.
BLUESMOKE MAKARA (GREEN)

A gentle soul loved by many,"Bluemo" will always be remembered. We will miss you so very much.
Rest Easy now, sweet boy.
Love, Your Family & Friends

Sabbath you where my friend my protector and my angel, I wish I could have saved your life, to have lost you feels like a piece of my heart was torn out, I will forever love you and you will always be in my heart, you will now play with your brother over the rainbow bridge, I wish I could have saved you but the eight years you blessed us with were the best eight years of our lives and no pet will ever replace you, and your sister gemini misses you terribly.
All Our Love Always

TORRE
I rescued you out of the shelter,
you were a sick doggy who only wanted to be well,
I loved you all the years we were together,
And you loved me too.
I promised you never a bad day while you were with me,
so eternity you went before that happened.
1995-2/18/08

In memory of my beloved cats who are no longer with us. We still miss you so much. You were loved and I pray 6 million doomed shelter pets each year find the miracle of being loved even half as much as you, Misty, Bubba, Rinty, Snuggles, Terista, and stray yard cat Gingerbread (owner unknown). Time went too fast, and our hearts still ache.
Linda Mander

GREMLIN-I rescued you when you were only 2 days old, you had a wonderful 21 yrs w/me. You were a wonderful kitty!

To My Precious Sheba: 1994-2006You came into our lives in 7/94 @ only 5 mths old. I saved you from going to a shelter & you saved me from yrs of loneliness. You were always ready to be my dance partner, dragging your blanket w/your mouth. When I was sad you nestled your head next to mine, to give me a hug. You were like lightning & full of grace when you played. In the short time you had left, you stayed strong willed, remained graceful & playful. Then you left me, in the same month you came to me, July. I guess it was your time to go so I could adopt another loving girl who, needed to be saved. We know that you are waiting for us in heaven & someday, we will all be together again & you can then meet your younger sister.
Love Always,
Mommy
