Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist

 

An organization created to save Saratoga County's abandoned pets. We are a group dedicated to rescuing animals facing euthanasia at the Saratoga County Shelter due to lack of space, and irresponsible previous owners. We place the animals with compassionate foster families until we can find the right permanent home for each pet. We believe a pet should be a lifelong commitment and companion. If you don't, please don't call to adopt one of our animals. We are always looking for foster homes for dogs or cats, sponsors willing to cover some of costs involved, as well as volunteers who'd like to join our organization. We plan to conduct many community outreach programs(such as a spay/neuter and feral cat campaigns) and fun-filled fundraising events. We will also have a no-kill sanctuary for animals in the future, and would welcome any donations of supplies or labor.

Dogs for Adoption

HOPE is now orchestrating a new program called "Seniors for Seniors". This program will be available to seniors wishing to adopt senior dogs (7 years and up) free of charge after approval by application.
MAXWELL-He is a young neutered male shepherd mix. He is very friendly with people and other dogs.
RUFF- is a 3 year old cattle dog mix who is great with kids and other animals
NALA-is a 60 lb. senior shepherd mix. She's good with other dogs, but not cats. She is very loyal, and would like a quiet home.
Butch is a gorgeous rotti/husky mix. He's friendly with people, but needs to be an only pet. He's had some obedience training.
SANDY-Sandy- a friendly 1 year old female mix of who knows what? She's ok with other animals but is a hard player. She will need plenty of exercise as she is a youngster.
SIRUS-a friendly 3 year old male St. Bernard mix. He loves to play.

 SATCHEL and Shadow (see below) are playful 1 year old brothers and they are about the nicest cats you'll ever meet. They are wonderful with other cats and love to snuggle and be held. They would love a home together.

TORI-is a beautiful, playful and affectionate all black female. She loves to play and to be held.
SUMMER - a beautiful, playful, affectionate 1 year old female tiger kitty.
VINNY- He is a playful 3 year old black kitty with white on his chest. He is a little shy with other animals , but can adjust. He loves to be pet, and purrs like crazy!!
PIDGE-Pidge is super sweet and is great with cats and dogs. She is a pretty, long haired dilute calico.
RIVER-River is a young female, Flo's mom. She's a very nice cat and is fine with other cats, but doesn't seem too fond of dogs. She has a touch of white on her chest.
SADIE CAT! Sadie is a very affectionate, beautiful, shy kitty.
MEET HANDSOME-Handsome and May are 6 year old brother and sister dlh's. They are very large, and are probably part Maine Coon Cat.They are best buddies and would like home together. May is a bit shy and needs her big bro to get her out of her shell. They are very nice kitties who get along very well with other cats, but probably would do better in a home without dogs. May has one blue and one yellow eye.
