On Sunday, February 3rd, we will come together for one worship service at 10:00 am! Immediately after the service, you are invited to a delicious potluck brunch in Tuttle Hall, followed by the annual meeting of Saint James' Church. Your rector and lay leaders strongly encourage as many of you as possible to join us on that day!
The annual meeting is a significant occasion in the life of the parish, and your presence means a great deal to us! It is important that, once a year, we gather as one body to reflect upon where we've been, and where we're going, to celebrate our accomplishments, and to consider areas which may need improvement. During the meeting, which usually lasts less than two hours, we will elect new vestry members and diocesan convention delegates. Your rector, warden, treasurer, and church school leaders will give brief reports.
The treasurer's report will include the presentation of the 2008 budget, with opportunity for discussion and questions. We very much hope that you will take some time to look it over prior to the meeting so that you can share your thoughts and any concerns with us on February 3rd.
