Richmond Iron Works Industrial Archaeology

Richmond Iron Works (RIW), Richmond Furnace, Massachusetts, USA
    Principal Investigators -
William (Bill) S. Edwards and Karl Danneil.
Bill is Chairman of the Richmond Historic Commission.

Richmond Furnace is located in the South West corner of the state of Massachusetts.

Many details of the industrial archaeology study we have worked at for several years will be presented here in the following months.  Be patient.  We have several filing cabinets full of information and pictures.  Send a note if you have a particular interest in this work or any of the information we have gathered.

Now that the National Historic District registration is complete and accepted by Washington D.C., we will present most of the submitted report (but not all 80 pages of it).
