Research is done primarily by Debora L. Hill, who has decades of experience with Italian ancestor research.
She holds B.A. degree in History, with coursework in methods of historical research, genealogy, family history,
the Italian language, and Mediterranean history--with certificates in International
Studies and genealogy. She also has a strong background in anthropology (world cultures and archaelogy--with
some study in digging up ancestors literally!) She graduated as a member of Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society
from Rowan University in N.J. She also earned an ALA-accredited MLS (Masters in Library Science), from Drexel University
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a concentration in archives through Temple University. Debora is an
information professional, trained in the preservation of historical documents and artifacts, and has worked
as a professional archivist. At the Pallante Center, she personally processes hundreds of microfilm documents
each month, and also oversees various onsite projects, as well as PCIR's document service for getting
individual official certificates out of Italy.
