The Sacred White Buffalo Cow has been carved from American Basswood. It was a difficult carving in-as-much that the grain was both hard and soft. I wanted the dark spault in this particular piece to show, and finished her in a clear, polyurethane gloss rather than using paint. She is 4 x 8 x 6, and is for sale.
