Images of the Baha'i World Center in Haifa

The Baha'i World Center, funded by voluntary contributions of Bahá'ís throughout the world, has the twin purposes of functioning as the world administrative headquarters of the Bahá'í Faith, and of beautifying the surroundings of the Shrine of the Báb, one of the holiest sites in the Bahá'í world. The latter aim is being effected through the construction of nineteen monumental garden terraces extending from the base of Mount Carmel to the top.
